Michael Lipsman, Ph.D., Economist and PlannerMike retired in October 2011 as Manager, Tax Research and Program Analysis Section, Iowa Department of Revenue. His duties included overseeing the fiscal impact analysis for State and federal tax legislation; tracking, analyzing, and forecasting State tax revenues and refunds; and tracking and analyzing national, regional, and State economic trends. Dan is currently Professor of Economics at Iowa State University. His current activities
include working with communities on economic development workshops, specialized analysis
of community facilities and services, income and employment analysis through economic
impact studies, and workshops on public policy issues for rural areas. |
